The main venue for the conference will be The Langham Hotel, 83 Symonds Street, Auckland. The Practice Exam will be held at the Manukau Super Clinic (return bus transportation will be provided for this from The Langham Hotel). The Dissection workshop will be held at the Anatomy Lab, Auckland School of Medicine - approximately 10 minute walk from The Langham. The conference dinner at CableBay Vineyards requires a ferry journey of 35 minutes (each way) to Waiheke Island, return bus transfers and ferry provided with dinner.
The Langham and The Scenic Hotel Auckland have rooms reserved for a limited time - please see the Accommodation Page to book directly. Please ensure that you book your accommodation as soon as possible (particularly if you want to stay at The Langham) as March is a busy time at the hotel and the allocation closes mid November for The Langham.
Delegates and Presenters are asked to register and collect their name tag and folder. The desk will be situated in Crystal 2.

Cy Newton will be available in Crystal 1 to assist with uploading presentations from Sunday 5.00 pm, half an hour before sessions start each day and at refreshment breaks.
Notes and presentation slides (where permission has been obtained) will be available in a Dropbox Folder. It is recommended that delegates download Dropbox to their laptops/phones prior to arrival. A link will be emailed directly to delegates.
Please come prepared for changeable weather. We suggest layers and a raincoat! Candidates are expected to wear business attire at the Practice Exam, casual for Dissection Workshops and main conference. Smart casual for the Welcome Function and Conference Dinner.
The Langham Auckland operates a no-smoking policy inside the hotel. If you would like to smoke please use the Greys Courtyard Area which is located off the main hotel lobby.
Follow instructons given by the designated Fire Warden/Duty Manager who will be wearing a high visibility jacket. Assembly point is located at City Road Valet Carpark, on the corner of City Road and Symonds Street. Do not re-enter the hotel unless the hotel is declared safe by the fire department.

All attendees are invited to participate in the ASAPS Essay Competition. The writer of the best essay will receive AU$3,000 in prize money which can be used to attend a training or conference event. This competition is not compulsory for trainees.

The group will be taking the Fullers 6.30 pm Ferry sailing to Waiheke. If you are travelling to the Ferry Building independently please ensure you are there by 6.15 pm at the latest (ferry departs at 6.30 pm sharp). Sally will issue tickets to the group at the entrance to the ferry. Please note that beverages and snacks can be purchased on board (35 minute sailing time).

The Langham Hotel is situated in the heart of the Auckland CBD and easy walking distance from the Auckland Medical School. Accommodation will be available to book with registration at the Langham Hotel as well as some other nearby hotels.
The Conference is open to Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery SET 2-5 Registrars and is by invitation only. Partners may attend the welcome function and conference dinner (partner tickets are available on the registration form).
All fees are in New Zealand Dollars. Payment will be accepted by credit card (Visa or Mastercard only), direct credit or cheque (must be made out in NZ $). Standard fees will apply from 16 December and will be applied to registrations which remain unpaid.
Any cancellations or alterations should be put in writing to the Registrars' 2016 Conference Organiser.
If cancellation of registration is received in writing on or before 19th February 2016 - 100% of monies will be refunded. From 20th February 2016 - no refund of monies paid.
Accommodation is booked directly with the hotel via the Hotel Page. The attendee should note the cancellation policy for the chosen hotel when making the direct booking. It is the attendees responsibility to notify the hotel directly of any changes to their booking.
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the conference and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The Registrars' 2016 Conference Secretariat cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance.
The Organising Committee, including the Registrars' 2016 Conference Secretariat, will not accept liability for damages of any nature sustained by attendees or loss of or damage to their personal property as a result of the conference or related events.
